In the 7th minute Atibaia Raiders were awarded a corner. Davi Moreira went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Pål Stensson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Indiana Jones in the 9th minute of play forced Atibaia Raiders's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Olave to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Atibaia Raiders's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Olave had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleto Cordaro. Marcus Edwards struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Benjamin Tino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atibaia Raiders. Washington Papa hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio Maravilha in the 16th minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Benjamin Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Bot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Juan Carlos Olave made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, Atibaia Raiders's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Olave had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Bot. Davi Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonsinho Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Juan Carlos Olave made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indiana Jones in the 41st minute of play. Atibaia Raiders's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Indiana Jones scored to the left of an out of position Juan Carlos Olave, making the score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Indiana Jones made the kick off in the second half. Juan Carlos Olave took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Cordaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Atibaia Raiders's Alejo Ferdinand got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Alejo Ferdinand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Indiana Jones in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Carlos Olave saved Atibaia Raiders from getting behind. Juan Carlos Olave came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Club El Progreso's Indiana Jones. But to his dismay, Indiana Jones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 62 minutes into the game, Enzo Bot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Juan Carlos Olave was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute Indiana Jones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Olave saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Club El Progreso's Indiana Jones nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Carlos Olave made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Benjamin Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Mesquita in the 77th minute of play. Benjamin Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 minutes, Marcus Edwards mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atibaia Raiders and the Club El Progreso players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Atibaia Raiders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Edwards to maneuver through the defense. Juan Carlos Olave showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Cordaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With a little luck, Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino got control of the ball when Túlio Maravilha tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club El Progreso's Washington Papa got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
