Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fan Xing Zhou in the 15th minute of play. Ruperto Maria made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Alfonso Goicoechea sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costin Duca in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Glogowski saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. Paolo Caradaro's late challenge caught a Salmuera CP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paolo Caradaro helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Caradaro. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Martinez in the 40th minute of play. Salmuera CP were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Club Atlético Atlanta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Torcuato Herrero took the corner. Emil Chwalkiewicz thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Pankracy Glogowski, a very annoying self made goal in the 44th minute which led to 0-3. The Club Atlético Atlanta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Salmuera CP were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Goicoechea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ciro Ferdinand's late challenge caught a Salmuera CP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Ferdinand helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Ferdinand. The supporters of Salmuera CP booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Cuartio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torcuato Herrero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pankracy Glogowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Fan Xing Zhous short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Pankracy Glogowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
