Rene Aires's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurino Serena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Aires in the 22nd minute of play. Mehmet Emrah Ruşen hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Walmir Catarinense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Aires in the 27th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurino Serena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some careless play in the A.D. Alcorcón defense, Rene Aires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurino Serena. The A.D. Alcorcón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurino Serena should have stopped the shot. After the first half Loco De Remate were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Aires to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Rene Aires recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maurino Serena. Rene Aires showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Maurino Serena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Aires in the 58th minute. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Rene Aires took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Maurino Serena to make any attempt to save it. A.D. Alcorcón's Eriz Acha was substituted for Natxo Cacheres. A.D. Alcorcón's Laurin Mangas was substituted for Delmar Mayor. 62 minutes into the match, Rene Aires notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena. Maurino Serena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Loco De Remate made a substitution. Delmar Chumo replaced Feliciano Iratxo. A.D. Alcorcón's Eriz Acha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Walmir Catarinense in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Loco De Remate walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
