In the 22nd minute Luis Elequemedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Rivero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Erasmo Veiga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erdi Bender. That made the score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cafu Fonseca got free with Erdi Bender in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. DOROSTOL Ss were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Szczakowianka's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joaquin Oriol took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Joaquin Oriol got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erdi Bender quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. DOROSTOL Ss's Leopoldo Rivero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radowit Ogrodowicz in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
