After a defensive mix-up in Los Muchachos del 86's zone, Rene Aires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 60th minute Luka Ljubenković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Jacob in the 87th minute of play forced Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Walmir Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Efrain Jacob had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walmir Catarinense. Loco De Remate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efrain Jacob was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Loco De Remate would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
