With a left leg Jonathan Palmquist saved Granate from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Teixeira came free, but Jonathan Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Christos Triantafyllou kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leopoldo Rivero. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Granate's Jonathan Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Teixeira in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Teixeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Palmquist was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 24th minute Nicolas Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Nicolas Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granate's Jonathan Palmquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Nicolas Teixeira put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Palmquist. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Valko Chochkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. DOROSTOL Ss's supporters rose to their feet, but Valko Chochkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Palmquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Teixeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Palmquist was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaakko Ramstadius in the 37th minute of play forced DOROSTOL Ss's goalkeeper Leopoldo Rivero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of DOROSTOL Ss booed when Granate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Euloxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Teixeira in the 47th minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Jonathan Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half DOROSTOL Ss were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christos Triantafyllou was the one to do the kick off. Leopoldo Rivero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leukothoe Sakelaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Jonathan Palmquist managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when DOROSTOL Ss's Erasmo Veiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Triantafyllou in the 55th minute of play forced DOROSTOL Ss's goalkeeper Leopoldo Rivero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toshko Strezov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmo Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Teixeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Palmquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Teixeira ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Palmquist made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Nicolas Teixeira sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th match minute, Granate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Euloxu to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Jonathan Palmquist made a huge save. Jonathan Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Lekubegi hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Nicolas Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erasmo Veiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Palmquist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as DOROSTOL Ss's Erasmo Veiga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Palmquist. That made the score 1-4 after 95 minutes of play. The Granate supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching DOROSTOL Ss's performance. The match ended with a win for DOROSTOL Ss.
