But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo-Nicolás Pérez couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Steven got free with Cecilio Gonza in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in LosAndes666's zone, Spyros Zacharioudakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Gonza came out of the goal and Spyros Zacharioudakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Ignacio Perrando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimond Lenk was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Nunez Hernandez hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Ignacio Perrando struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. In the 85th minute of the match LosAndes666 got a corner. Piratas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag.
