The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maurino Serena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paolo Caradaro went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolo Bacete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Goicoechea in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurino Serena saved A.D. Alcorcón from getting behind. 13 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Vadillos came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belo Alvarez in the 14th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belo Alvarez in the 16th minute of play. Paolo Caradaro let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 17th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. After a rather tough play, A.D. Alcorcón's Eusebio Quijana got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute, Belo Alvarez made a precise shot to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Alcorcón's Esteban Vadillos got a free kick in the 30th minute. Alcorcón's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-3 score and a disappointed Maurino Serena as he didn't even see the shot coming. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.D. Alcorcón's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emil Chwalkiewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Atlanta's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Club Atlético Atlanta's Paolo Caradaro to fire away a dangerous shot which Maurino Serena despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Maurino Serena stood somewhat misplaced when Paolo Caradaro came free in front of goal and shot 4-3 to the left of him in the 45 minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-3 at half-time.

The wind increased when Belo Alvarez made the kick off in the second half. A.D. Alcorcón's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leroy Antunez in the 55th minute. The corner led to A.D. Alcorcón's Bingen Campos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Goicoechea in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Belo Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Mugur Chiriac left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. In the 67th match minute, A.D. Alcorcón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolinar Guijarro to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Esteban Vadillos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manolo Bacete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Glogowski having to interfere. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the game, one of A.D. Alcorcón:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Club Atlético Atlanta. Emil Chwalkiewicz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maurino Serena. 6-3. In the 82nd minute of the match, Isaac Ortiz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pankracy Glogowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 84 minutes of play, A.D. Alcorcón's Isaac Ortiz made it 6-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pankracy Glogowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when A.D. Alcorcón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolinar Guijarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Club Atlético Atlanta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
