The audience thought a goal was coming when Cecilio Telesforo got free with Ronaldão Lucas in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute, Cecilio Telesforo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ronaldão Lucas. The goal made the score 1-0. Spams's Dražen Ladić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José de Amorim in the 13th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enzo Berart stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronaldão Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Berart in the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to Scarlet Speedster getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Carlos Fernando Freire hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Scarlet Speedster's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Beila came free, but Ronaldão Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Spams booed when Scarlet Speedster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. José de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes, Alex Falcão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scarlet Speedster and the Spams players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 minutes Scarlet Speedster's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Domingos Beila who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Spams's corner Domingos Beila fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ronaldão Lucas quite easily take care of the ball. Scarlet Speedster's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
