La Gallardeta's Casimiro Erramun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save La Gallardeta from getting a goal against them. Dražen Ladić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dražen Ladić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Madeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. La Gallardeta were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Spams's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ruben Dolfo took the corner. The corner ended in Ruben Dolfo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Spams's Dražen Ladić did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Madeo in the 27th minute of play forced Spams's goalkeeper Dražen Ladić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Spams's zone, Paulo Romelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dražen Ladić came out of the goal and Paulo Romelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Flores in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dražen Ladić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Flores in the 35th minute of play forced Spams's goalkeeper Dražen Ladić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Romelio hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Ante Rebić made a precise shot to the right of Casimiro Erramun. La Gallardeta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 40 played minutes Spams got a freekick which was hit by Igor Tudor.

Spams's Enzo Berart was substituted for Gualterio Veto. 58 minutes into the game, Marcos Madeo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Gallardeta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spams the free kick. Casimiro Erramun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ante Rebić in the 59th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Paulo Romelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Paulo Romelio hit a great ball. In the 71stth minute of the game Cecilio Telesforo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Gallardeta's Casimiro Erramun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when Spams was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Cutberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Flores's late challenge caught a Spams's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Flores helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Felipe Flores hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Cecilio Telesforo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casimiro Erramun was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 96 played minutes Spams got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Tonio. Spams were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of La Gallardeta for a fine match.
