With a little luck, Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski got control of the ball when Leszek Sakowicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Leszek Sakowicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pankracy Glogowski. Leszek Sakowicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Lázaro Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Pankracy Glogowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A nice corner shot did that Juvenal Azevedo got away a dangerous shot. Lázaro Prestes charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lázaro Prestes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lázaro Prestes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Maksymilian Zabrzeski came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Heide FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maksymilian Zabrzeski couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Heide FC's Julian Bejrut dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Pankracy Glogowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Bejrut's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute Heide FC were awarded a corner. Kevin Õnnepalu went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 34th minute, Julian Bejrut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 45 minutes Heide FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciro Ferdinand who took care of the corner kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Bejrut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fernando Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Atlanta's Mugur Chiriac nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iwan Dziuma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Heide FC made a substitution. Moises Berenguer replaced Leszek Sakowicz.
