La Pointe Courte's Roch Felenak got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vitinho Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Prestin in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roch Felenak got free with Vitinho Gaspar in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Lidice's Charles Custódio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Charles Custódio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lidice protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Charles Custódio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 56th minute, one of Lidice:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lidice. Roch Felenak had several of the Lidice's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Vitinho Gaspar as he didn't even see the shot coming. La Pointe Courte's Pawel Harendarski was substituted for Alejo Alonso. La Pointe Courte's Gilbert Thellier was substituted for Alain Girault. The throw-in from Hernan Lon in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Pointe Courte's Dan Black. In the 73rd match minute, Lidice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Lon to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute of the match Josué Pagueguy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vitinho Gaspar skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lidice's zone, Yves Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitinho Gaspar came out of the goal and Yves Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Yves Leite's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitinho Gaspar was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. With a little luck, Lidice's Vitinho Gaspar got control of the ball when Yves Leite tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as La Pointe Courte's Yves Leite slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vitinho Gaspar. That made the score 0-6 after 85 minutes of play. In the 88th minute, Hernan Lon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Yves Leite ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitinho Gaspar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. La Pointe Courte's Ivan Lidström quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hernan Lon, made in the 95th minute of the game. Vitinho Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Leite in the 98th minute of the match. The La Pointe Courte players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
