The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, ZEZOM TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Du Yuan Chao came free, but Enzo Morais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match ZEZOM TEAM got a corner. Suprs Academia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Julian Pyrzyce ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Râznicu in the 13th minute of play forced Suprs Academia's goalkeeper Deng Liang Yao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Suprs Academia's Amílcar Leiria ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Enzo Morais. Enzo Morais yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim Teves was the one to do the kick off. Deng Liang Yao was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Avram Râznicu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 53 minute of play. Roderick Potvin got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Bai Shi Ao. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Teves got free with Deng Liang Yao in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of ZEZOM TEAM booed when Suprs Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aparício Rebocho didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Macit Sağıt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Suprs Academia's Deng Liang Yao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Suprs Academia from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute, Jiang Si Nan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZEZOM TEAM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Suprs Academia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Armando Mascarenhas was slow to take the kick. During this time ZEZOM TEAM's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Suprs Academia's goalie and right to José Vieira. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Suprs Academia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience was convinced that Johnny Gustavsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enzo Morais was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ZEZOM TEAM eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
