An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Chiriac in the 6th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Maurício Bomba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Peep Pronk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peep Pronk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peep Pronk got free with Pankracy Glogowski in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peep Pronk did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Pankracy Glogowski 14 minutes into the match. If Peep Pronk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peep Pronk in the 22nd minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurício Bomba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurício Bomba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Goicoechea in the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Alfonso Goicoechea made the kick off in the second half. Peep Pronk might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pankracy Glogowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peep Pronk ran back to his position shaking his head. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peep Pronk, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Peep Pronk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pankracy Glogowski should have stopped the shot. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Carlos Alberto Marquez replaced Cod Whatman. AC LeX Luthor's Alvaro Errando was substituted for Peep Pronk. Blade Runnel kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Errando in the 64th minute of play. Club Atlético Atlanta's Benigno Abreu was substituted for Remigio Erramu. In the 70th minute Alvaro Errando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Anselmo Nevada came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Club Atlético Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Nevada couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Errando took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pankracy Glogowski. Pankracy Glogowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Alvaro Errando managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC LeX Luthor's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Errando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pankracy Glogowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Pancho Branca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Eustaquio Jaizki took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Maurício Bomba to make any attempt to save it. In the 88thth minute of the game Carlos Alberto Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Club Atlético Atlanta's Alfonso Goicoechea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maurício Bomba. Maurício Bomba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. AC LeX Luthor's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
