Henrik Berg dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Benjamin Gold hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Sweden booed when ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Fribäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Sweden fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Sweden's Ivar Lindqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The Sweden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Roberto Layton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörgen Levander in the 92nd minute of the match. There was no doubt that Sweden were the better team. Sweden's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
