Montalcino SE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Montalcino SE's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Correia came free, but Valdomiro Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdomiro Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ioan Voicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Espiridion in the 20th minute of play. Valdomiro Ferraz came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Temperley's Cristiano Correia. But to his dismay, Cristiano Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Club Atlético Temperley getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Marco Villerias hit a great ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Temperley's goalkeeper Ioan Voicu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ioan Voicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Espiridion in the 27th minute of the match. Ioan Voicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Espiridion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Club Atlético Temperley's Ioan Voicu got control of the ball when Modesto Atarratze tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ioan Voicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Atarratze in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Nicolas Espiridion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Voicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Leonardo de Godoi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ioan Voicu, 1-2. Artemio Haritzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Montalcino SE's Leonardo de Godoi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Montalcino SE booed when Club Atlético Temperley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Solares didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Genílson Diniz during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Montalcino SE getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Genílson Diniz hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Rolando Lopez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdomiro Ferraz was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Gaston Laurendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdomiro Ferraz having to interfere. Aníbal Solares hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Perivaldo Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Voicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Nicolas Espiridion notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Club Atlético Temperley's Ioan Voicu. Ioan Voicu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Montalcino SE's Valdomiro Ferraz got control of the ball when Gaston Laurendi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valdomiro Ferraz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaston Laurendi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 67 minute of play. Montalcino SE's Válter Cearense was substituted for Almir Valadares. Club Atlético Temperley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dino Nicolini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Gaston Laurendi hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Orlando Cordarell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Montalcino SE's Leonardo de Godoi tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
