With a little luck, Navalito's Soriano Espiñeira got control of the ball when Gervaso Abenda tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute Jimmy Örtendal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soriano Espiñeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidoro Young in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renan Mendes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, Clóvis Dias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Soriano Espiñeira. Navalito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clóvis Dias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Matanza and Steelers's César Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Navalito defense, Gervaso Abenda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Soriano Espiñeira. The Navalito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Soriano Espiñeira should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Eros Villamayor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 44 in the game by Ulrico Herzog from a close distance when the talented Soriano Espiñeira managed to make a qualified save. Navalito's players were relieved.

Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Young in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Navalito's Amanda Björn got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Isidoro Young took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan Mendes. Renan Mendes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Navalito made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leysus Oktavianus in the 63rd minute of play forced Navalito's goalkeeper Soriano Espiñeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soriano Espiñeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrico Herzog, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Navalito's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Örtendal came free, but Soriano Espiñeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
