Dean Watts was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Almir Valadares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Espiridion in the 8th minute of play forced Amputees FC's goalkeeper Dean Watts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Espiridion scored 2-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dean Watts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isaltino Figueiredo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Dean Watts 14 minutes into the match. Amputees FC's Dean Watts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Espiridion in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Nicolas Espiridion rounded Amputees FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. With his leg Dean Watts managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Montalcino SE's Almir Valadares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Almir Valadares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dean Watts was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Dean Watts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Valadares in the 33rd minute of the match. Montalcino SE's Valdomiro Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carleton Howie in the 34th minute of play. Amputees FC's Carleton Howie managed to work through Montalcino SE's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Carleton Howie dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 36th minute of the match, Almir Valadares got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dean Watts was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 37th match minute, Amputees FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carleton Howie to maneuver through the defense. Almir Valadares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Dean Watts when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Valdomiro Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Laing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Leonardo de Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Montalcino SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo de Godoi couldn't finish the play. Dean Watts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Espiridion in the 46th minute of the match. When Menios Kefalos fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montalcino SE's protests and gave Menios Kefalos a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Montalcino SE got a freekick which was hit by Menios Kefalos. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abraham Laing made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Roger Sinden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bishop Warhurst kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Dean Watts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Almir Valadares's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Carleton Howie kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. During the 68th minute of the match Menios Kefalos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Menios Kefalos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 68th match minute, Montalcino SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menios Kefalos to maneuver through the defense. Montalcino SE made a substitution. Modesto Atarratze replaced Almir Valadares. In the 70th minute Abraham Laing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute Amputees FC were awarded a corner. Ed Royans went to the cornerflag to take it. Dean Watts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dean Watts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Espiridion went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Montalcino SE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonardo de Godoi in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Amputees FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Espiridion came free, but Dean Watts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montalcino SE's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
