The audience thought a goal was coming when Ike Pears got free with Mario Cejas in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mario Cejas made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Remy Neich sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute, Stan Mackney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Brun in the 30th minute of play forced Disco Inferno FC's goalkeeper Dale Gracey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Disco Inferno FC's Dale Gracey got control of the ball when Pedro Luís Munhoz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Padrón 1744's zone, Abelardo Hustaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Cejas came out of the goal and Abelardo Hustaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Brun in the 75th minute of play forced Disco Inferno FC's goalkeeper Dale Gracey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disco Inferno FC's Dale Gracey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ragnar Fransson in the 79th minute of play. Dale Gracey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Txurio in the 81st minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, Disco Inferno FC's Rick Quinane made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Cejas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disco Inferno FC's Dale Gracey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Disco Inferno FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Danilo Bibiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dale Gracey was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Disco Inferno FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Padrón 1744 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
