The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Ferdinand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Soriano Espiñeira was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Celso Gaur made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Feliciano Pancho immediately put the ball in play. Navalito's Soriano Espiñeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 41st minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boquenses's goalkeeper Tobias Osoro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Gustavo Caicedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Navalito's Isidoro Young was substituted for Nicanor Parra. Feliciano Pancho hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Tobias Osoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Young in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Isidoro Young managed to get in a good position for a shot. Navalito's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Young was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Osoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Young in the 68th minute of play forced Boquenses's goalkeeper Tobias Osoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Isidoro Young got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Sancho in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Soriano Espiñeira saved Navalito from getting behind. In the 78th minute Nicolas Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soriano Espiñeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Osoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Young in the 82nd minute. Severino Rey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidoro Young hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Tobias Osoro was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Isidoro Young capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isidoro Young really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Navalito's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
