Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damian Maftei started the match with the kick off. Willy Reynolds came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Paolo Pereyra could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Maftei got free with Paolo Pereyra in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Ricart in the 15th minute of play. After 17 played minutes ManagerZone Academy got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Che. 17 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Maftei came free, but Paolo Pereyra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Maftei in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paolo Pereyra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aguinaga Nebot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Ricart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aguinaga Nebot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Hyuga in the 29th minute of the match. Stefanos Terzopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute Steve Hyuga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aguinaga Nebot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Yan Zhou Xuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steve Hyuga hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Esmeraldas S.C.'s Willy Reynolds slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paolo Pereyra. That made the score 1-0 after 40 minutes of play. In the 44th minute, Damian Maftei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paolo Pereyra was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Hyuga in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Steve Hyuga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paolo Pereyra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willy Reynolds in the 54th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Marc Pringle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Damian Maftei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Maftei, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Konstantinos Kermelidis hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st match minute, ManagerZone Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Alvarez to maneuver through the defense. After 72 played minutes, Esmeraldas S.C.'s Stefanos Terzopoulos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paolo Pereyra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Esmeraldas S.C. reached it. If Daniel Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Esmeraldas S.C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Stefanos Terzopoulos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Hyuga in the 89th minute of play forced Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalkeeper Aguinaga Nebot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Castillo in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paolo Pereyra saved ManagerZone Academy from getting behind.
