In the 4th minute, Victor Heredia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Byki Karakanisko fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Victor Heredia came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Byki Karakanisko fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Heredia couldn't finish the play. Hilario Delfino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brennan McGlynn, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A collision led to Byki Karakanisko getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Stasio Pawelczyk hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Guinness Athletic's Brennan McGlynn got a free kick in the 28th minute. Guinness Athletic's Quinn Coyle got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Heredia might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lisandro Ospin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Heredia ran back to his position shaking his head. 37 minutes into the game, one of Byki Karakanisko:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Heredia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lisandro Ospin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stasio Pawelczyk in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Nowacki in the 64th minute of play forced Guinness Athletic's goalkeeper Lisandro Ospin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Delfino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quinn Coyle in the 66th minute of play. Stasio Pawelczyk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lisandro Ospin came out and tried to block the shot, but Stasio Pawelczyk slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 69th minute. Guinness Athletic's Lisandro Ospin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Wierzchowski in the 72nd minute of play. Byki Karakanisko made a substitution. Stasio Dranka replaced Karol Wierzchowski. 80 minutes into the match, Byki Karakanisko's goal looked a bit too open when Brennan McGlynn came free, but Hilario Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Byki Karakanisko's Marek Resel was substituted for Victor Heredia. In the 83rd minute Guinness Athletic were awarded a corner. Briain McJon went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Kyle Harkin put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Hilario Delfino. When Briain McJon fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guinness Athletic's protests and gave Briain McJon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Briain McJon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lisandro Ospin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stasio Dranka's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. When the match was over Byki Karakanisko could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guinness Athletic throughout the match.
