Francis Gurney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fernando Quintal in the 22nd minute of the match. Fábio Ramalho hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Gino da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Fábio Ramalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Avellar FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pedrão de Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mattias Cartwright in the 32nd minute. Francis Gurney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Pedrão de Amaral made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Nick Rushforth sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th match minute, Avellar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Cartwright in the 67th minute of play forced Avellar FC's goalkeeper Pedrão de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beto de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Chicão Cardozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tom Dearden kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. If Joel Dlyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Dlyan in the 93rd minute of play forced Avellar FC's goalkeeper Pedrão de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
