With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brandon Borthwick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the last second Brandon Borthwick throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ferreirinha Heidemann in the 4thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When FK Green United's Ferreirinha Heidemann in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dundee Rovers's goalie prevented a goal. Brandon Borthwick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferreirinha Heidemann in the 6th minute of play. Ralph Rosenfelder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gus Simpson in the 11th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Sebastian Webel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Green United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dundee Rovers the free kick. Sebastian Webel kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Dundee Rovers's Oliver McIlvride was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ralph Rosenfelder in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 1-0 became the score in the 23rd minute when Ferreirinha Heidemann elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, William McJames hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralph Rosenfelder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dean Dyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Oliver McIlvride made a precise shot to the right of Ralph Rosenfelder. FK Green United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferreirinha Heidemann to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Dundee Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Jago Oper came free, but Brandon Borthwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brandon Borthwick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferreirinha Heidemann in the 62nd minute of play. Ralph Rosenfelder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gus Simpson in the 72nd minute of play. FK Green United's Ferreirinha Heidemann got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommi Grefen hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The supporters of Dundee Rovers booed when FK Green United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jago Oper didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Nick McDonachie could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Ralph Rosenfelder however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of FK Green United booed when Dundee Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean Dyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Ferreirinha Heidemann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Green United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferreirinha Heidemann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FK Green United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dundee Rovers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
