Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ian York got the match started through his kick off. River Thames FC's Trev Cahill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver McIlvride in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gus Simpson in the 16th minute of play forced River Thames FC's goalkeeper Trev Cahill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian York in the 17th minute of play forced Dundee Rovers's goalkeeper Brandon Borthwick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Oliver McIlvride almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but River Thames FC's Trev Cahill did a great save. Brandon Borthwick was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Ian York capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ian York really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 34th minute Gus Simpson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trev Cahill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Ian York had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brandon Borthwick. Dundee Rovers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ian York was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. River Thames FC's Trev Cahill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gus Simpson in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, River Thames FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nick McDonachie came free, but Trev Cahill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in River Thames FC's zone, Nick McDonachie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trev Cahill came out of the goal and Nick McDonachie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristian Laycock hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Oliver McIlvride was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. Dundee Rovers's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gus Simpson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trev Cahill having to interfere. Walter Munn kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Nick McDonachie came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Trev Cahill could save by the left post. When Tod Cartwright fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Thames FC's protests and gave Tod Cartwright a yellow card for diving instead. Tod Cartwright hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Nick McDonachie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dundee Rovers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nick McDonachie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Dundee Rovers getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Walter Munn hit a great ball. Brandon Borthwick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Swift in the 71st minute of play. Trev Cahill was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Nick McDonachie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nick McDonachie really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Trev Cahill didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dean Dyer went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. A nice corner shot did that John-Paul Wall got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Brandon Borthwick quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Dundee Rovers's Arthur McKelvie got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Nick McDonachie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
