Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Harry Robson made the kick off which started today's match. Åkirkeby FC's Helmuth Rahbek managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Les Simpson in the 2 minute of the game. Jess Mørkner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentin Bell, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Johnny Folsted threw the ball into play from the sideline. East Ham United's Timothy Breckin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ollie Halford during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of East Ham United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Åkirkeby FC:s goal. Quentin Bell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Helmuth Rahbek hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Harry Robson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The East Ham United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. East Ham United's Quentin Bell pulled a muscle in his back after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Johnny Folsted fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åkirkeby FC's protests and gave Johnny Folsted a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Johnny Folsted hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Helmuth Rahbek kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Halvor Ejsved came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Åkirkeby FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Halvor Ejsved couldn't finish the play. When East Ham United's Harry Robson in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jens Harsted did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Theo Groom 40 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, East Ham United's Harry Robson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jess Mørkner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After the first half East Ham United were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jens Harsted to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of East Ham United booed when Åkirkeby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Folsted didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, East Ham United's Ryan Ackroyd tried to score from far away in the 51st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alistair Lockwood's late challenge caught a Åkirkeby FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alistair Lockwood helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Alistair Lockwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timothy Breckin during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, East Ham United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timothy Breckin to maneuver through the defense. Chaz Hudson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 61 in the game by Harry Robson from a close distance when the talented Jess Mørkner managed to make a qualified save. Åkirkeby FC's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Jens Harsted managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åkirkeby FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens Harsted was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo Groom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Åkirkeby FC's Jens Harsted got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jess Mørkner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry Robson in the 87th minute. Ture Wiid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Theo Groom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched East Ham United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
