In the 11th minute, Jago Oper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Ritchie Branston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. East Ham United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Green United the free kick. In the 19th match minute, East Ham United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ritchie Branston to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Jago Oper put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Theo Groom. 23 minutes into the match, East Ham United's goal looked a bit too open when Tommi Grefen came free, but Theo Groom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Robson in the 25th minute of play forced FK Green United's goalkeeper Ralph Rosenfelder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Jago Oper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Green United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jago Oper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ollie Halford hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jago Oper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ralph Rosenfelder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry Robson in the 32nd minute. Harry Robson in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ralph Rosenfelder, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Harry Robson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Theo Groom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Giro in the 38th minute of the match. Ralph Rosenfelder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quentin Bell in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jago Oper in the 43rd minute of play forced East Ham United's goalkeeper Theo Groom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralph Rosenfelder made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Harry Robson sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harry Robson to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FK Green United's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Bell came free, but Ralph Rosenfelder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by FK Green United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Quentin Bell was slow to take the kick. During this time East Ham United's players had a chance to rest. Harry Robson scored 1-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ralph Rosenfelder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ritchie Branston kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. FK Green United's Ralph Rosenfelder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quentin Bell in the 59th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Ryan Ackroyd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tommi Grefen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jago Oper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute Harry Robson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Rosenfelder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jago Oper blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Theo Groom having to make a save. Theo Groom came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Green United's Jago Oper. But to his dismay, Jago Oper quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Theo Groom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferreirinha Heidemann's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. FK Green United's attentive Julius Beyersdorf managed to snatch the ball when Timothy Breckin made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. The supporters of FK Green United booed when East Ham United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mike Callery didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, FK Green United's Jago Oper dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tommi Grefen got free with Theo Groom in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jago Oper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Groom having to interfere. FK Green United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
