After 11 minutes of play, Guinness Athletic's Quinn Coyle made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brandon Borthwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quinn Coyle in the 15th minute of the match. Gus Simpson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lisandro Ospin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Dundee Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Walter Munn. Brandon Borthwick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis McWill in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Guinness Athletic getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Cosme Estebano hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Oliver McIlvride managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dundee Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver McIlvride was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brandon Borthwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinn Coyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nick McDonachie to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Kyle Harkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brandon Borthwick was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Ryan McNamee capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ryan McNamee really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. The supporters of Guinness Athletic booed when Dundee Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Munn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quinn Coyle took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brandon Borthwick. Brandon Borthwick dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Lisandro Ospin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nick McDonachie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Guinness Athletic booed when Dundee Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guy McInroy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisandro Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver McIlvride in the 81st minute of play. If Quinn Coyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nick McDonachie in the 87th minute of play forced Guinness Athletic's goalkeeper Lisandro Ospin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guinness Athletic's Lisandro Ospin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nick McDonachie in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis McWill in the 91st minute of play forced Dundee Rovers's goalkeeper Brandon Borthwick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Dundee Rovers getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Arthur McKelvie hit a great ball. The Dundee Rovers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guinness Athletic's performance. The match ended with a win for Guinness Athletic.
