Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Freddie Nurup fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skudstrup FC's protests and gave Freddie Nurup a yellow card for diving instead. If Jens Harsted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Åkirkeby FC's Jess Mørkner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lasse Lerholt in the 81st minute of play. Steff Egestrand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jess Mørkner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Åkirkeby FC's goal looked a bit too open when Steff Egestrand came free, but Jess Mørkner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Lasse Lerholt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skudstrup FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lasse Lerholt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jess Mørkner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Skudstrup FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
