An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver McIlvride in the 13th minute of play forced Polom's goalkeeper Adam Podowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Borys Badanowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polom's supporters rose to their feet, but Borys Badanowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brandon Borthwick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wit Matuch in the 16th minute of play forced Dundee Rovers's goalkeeper Brandon Borthwick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dundee Rovers's Nick McDonachie in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Polom's goalie prevented a goal. Nick McDonachie scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adam Podowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Oliver McIlvride had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Podowski was a little too slow when Nick McDonachie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 3-0. Nick McDonachie in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adam Podowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nick McDonachie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Adam Podowski made a huge save. In the 46th minute, Radowit Grucza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Podowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver McIlvride in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Nick McDonachie made the kick off in the second half. Oliver McIlvride might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adam Podowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver McIlvride ran back to his position shaking his head. Walter Munn hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Brandon Borthwick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olgierd Bojanowski in the 67th minute. Dundee Rovers's Brandon Borthwick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Badanowski in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nick McDonachie in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Podowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karol Kocieniewski during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. During the 73rd minute of the match Radowit Grucza completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Radowit Grucza a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Polom getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Radowit Grucza hit a great ball. Adam Podowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick McDonachie in the 82nd minute of the match. Oliver McIlvride's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adam Podowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. If Oliver McIlvride had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Podowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nick McDonachie's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. After 91 minutes of play Polom's Karol Kocieniewski was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Polom:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dundee Rovers:s goal. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Dundee Rovers. Oliver McIlvride stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adam Podowski. 5-0. Oliver McIlvride struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Adam Podowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dundee Rovers.
