The player immediately received a yellow card. Nick McDonachie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrão de Amaral having to interfere. Brandon Borthwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Ramalho in the 16th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Avellar FC's goalkeeper Pedrão de Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nick McDonachie. Pedrão de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver McIlvride, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Avellar FC's Luís Fernando Quintal got a free kick in the 26th minute. Pedrão de Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gus Simpson in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Avellar FC defense, Gus Simpson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedrão de Amaral. The Avellar FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedrão de Amaral should have stopped the shot. Gino da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Borthwick having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Avellar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Quintal to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the game, Gus Simpson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Pedrão de Amaral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nick McDonachie charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nick McDonachie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Dundee Rovers getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Nick McDonachie hit a great ball. Brandon Borthwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Ramalho in the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fábio Ramalho to make the kick off. 6-0 became the score in the 51st minute when Dean Dyer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Gus Simpson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedrão de Amaral. Avellar FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gus Simpson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 59th minute, Nick McDonachie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dundee Rovers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 63rd minute, Josh Galloway hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Nick McDonachie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrão de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gus Simpson in the 66th minute of the match. William McJames kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Juarês Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Brandon Borthwick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrão de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick McDonachie, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Avellar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gus Simpson came free, but Pedrão de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes Avellar FC got a freekick which was hit by Hortêncio Pirani. Pedrão de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick McDonachie in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Avellar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nick McDonachie came free, but Pedrão de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Oliver McIlvride ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedrão de Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Dundee Rovers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
