An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Badanowski in the 10th minute of play forced Byki Karakanisko's goalkeeper Hilario Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacek Rosiewicz in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Podowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute, Przemyslaw Fafinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jacek Rosiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Radowit Grucza fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polom's protests and gave Radowit Grucza a yellow card for diving instead. Radowit Grucza kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 30 minutes of play, Polom's Olgierd Bojanowski made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hilario Delfino was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Byki Karakanisko booed when Polom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Badanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olgierd Bojanowski got free with Hilario Delfino in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 minutes, Michal Orlicki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polom and the Byki Karakanisko players grew even worse after the yellow card. Michal Orlicki hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Hilario Delfino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Badanowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 49th minute, Polom's Borys Badanowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Polom's Borys Badanowski got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacek Rosiewicz during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jacek Rosiewicz hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Hilario Delfino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Bojanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Olgierd Bojanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Delfino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Napoleon Walentowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Napoleon Walentowicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Przemyslaw Fafinski's late challenge caught a Polom's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Przemyslaw Fafinski helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Byki Karakanisko's Przemyslaw Fafinski got a free kick in the 81st minute.
