Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd match minute, The White Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doug Walker to maneuver through the defense. Francis Gurney came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by River Thames FC's Ian York. But to his dismay, Ian York quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Doug Walker scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trev Cahill, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Joel Dlyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tod Cartwright kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mattias Cartwright in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trev Cahill prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The White Rovers were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after River Thames FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Doug Walker took the corner. The White Rovers's Doug Walker was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Trev Cahill in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Ian York had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doug Walker got free with Trev Cahill in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48th minute, Joel Dlyan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The White Rovers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Joel Dlyan managed to get in a good position for a shot. The White Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Dlyan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trev Cahill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trev Cahill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Cartwright in the 55th minute of play. Marcus Swift who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Francis Gurney when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcus Swift in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Francis Gurney, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Francis Gurney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Swift in the 58th minute. Doug Walker kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, River Thames FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Cartwright came free, but Trev Cahill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mattias Cartwright during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes The White Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Cartwright. Trev Cahill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Dlyan in the 66th minute of the match. The White Rovers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Doug Walker in the 68th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Tom Dearden heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The White Rovers's Francis Gurney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save The White Rovers from getting a goal against them. John-Paul Wall kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The White Rovers's Francis Gurney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Swift in the 81st minute of play. Doug Walker kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ian York received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Francis Gurney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Archie Garner threw the ball into play from the sideline. River Thames FC's Charles Baker quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Joel Dlyan struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Trev Cahill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The White Rovers. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The The White Rovers fans cheered their team off the field, for while River Thames FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
