After a rather tough play, Guinness Athletic's Doney McDonald got a free kick in the 21st minute. Mortimer Bækmark made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Quinn Coyle sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute of the game Blaithmeic Dempsey made a throw-in which Kyle Harkin played forward. Darick Todd made in the 35th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kyle Harkin however managed to control. 38 minutes into the match, Guinness Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Gunner Kalhauge came free, but Lisandro Ospin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryan McNamee hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Mortimer Bækmark acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Darick Todd. Quinn Coyle's late challenge caught a Najbjerg F's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quinn Coyle helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Guinness Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Quinn Coyle. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quinn Coyle to strike the kick off in the second half. Mortimer Bækmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis McWill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Louis McWill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Louis McWill came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Guinness Athletic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Louis McWill couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Askild Ullum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Toke Prohaska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Guinness Athletic's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gunner Kalhauge fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Quinn Coyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mortimer Bækmark came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Guinness Athletic's Ryan McNamee. But to his dismay, Ryan McNamee quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Quinn Coyle was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 90 played minutes Guinness Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Quinn Coyle. Mortimer Bækmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis McWill in the 95th minute of the match.
