Johnny Folsted made in the 4th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Skudstrup FC's Albinus Rolang. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steff Egestrand in the 8th minute of play forced Åkirkeby FC's goalkeeper Jess Mørkner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens Harsted received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Per Næsselund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Åkirkeby FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jens Harsted hit a great ball. Steff Egestrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 31st minute, Jens Harsted ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per Næsselund was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 37 minutes into the match, Jens Harsted had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per Næsselund. Skudstrup FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens Harsted was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Per Næsselund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ture Wiid in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Jens Harsted cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Per Næsselund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Per Næsselund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens Harsted's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Jens Harsted received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Per Næsselund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.
After 50 played minutes Skudstrup FC got a freekick which was hit by Sivart Søholm. Halvor Ejsved hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Jens Harsted received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Per Næsselund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Skudstrup FC booed when Åkirkeby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Folsted didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Åkirkeby FC's goal looked a bit too open when Steff Egestrand came free, but Jess Mørkner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens Harsted recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Steff Egestrand notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Åkirkeby FC's Jess Mørkner. Jess Mørkner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Charlie Gadkjær was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Åkirkeby FC! In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Åkirkeby FC's goalkeeper Jess Mørkner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 77 minutes of play, Skudstrup FC's Steff Egestrand made it 6-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jess Mørkner was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Anker Kjærvang fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skudstrup FC's protests and gave Anker Kjærvang a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Skudstrup FC's Anker Kjærvang got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Halvor Ejsved sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Åkirkeby FC booed when Skudstrup FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnfred Glæsborg didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Åkirkeby FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ricky Calder hit a great ball. If Sonny Vaarst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Skudstrup FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Åkirkeby FC for much of the match.
