Daniel Luft recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FK Green United's Ralf-Joachim Reichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Nethercott in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Nethercott in the 11th minute of play forced FK Green United's goalkeeper Ralf-Joachim Reichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedikt Dörfler hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arne Grath during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in FK Green United's zone, Danny Nethercott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralf-Joachim Reichel came out of the goal and Danny Nethercott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 minutes, Dustin Springer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Green United and the Tasmania Berlin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dustin Springer hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. FK Green United's Ralf-Joachim Reichel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save FK Green United from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FK Green United's Ralf-Joachim Reichel got control of the ball when Zak Ford tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute, Ted Ellerby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Edward Fry fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tasmania Berlin's protests and gave Edward Fry a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Tasmania Berlin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Fry to maneuver through the defense. Zak Ford could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ralf-Joachim Reichel made a huge save. With a little luck, FK Green United's Ralf-Joachim Reichel got control of the ball when Ted Ellerby tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, one of FK Green United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FK Green United. In the 39th minute of the game, Benedikt Dörfler landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. During the 39th minute of the match Edward Fry completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edward Fry a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. FK Green United made a substitution. Torsten Schlegel replaced Benedikt Dörfler. Edward Fry kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, FK Green United's goalkeeper Ralf-Joachim Reichel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ted Ellerby. Ralf-Joachim Reichel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zak Ford showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 47 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zak Ford made a kick off. When Danny Nethercott came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Tasmania Berlin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danny Nethercott couldn't finish the play. If Tommi Grefen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, FK Green United's goal looked a bit too open when Zak Ford came free, but Ralf-Joachim Reichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Danny Nethercott sped through FK Green United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ralf-Joachim Reichel. Zak Ford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ralf-Joachim Reichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ralf-Joachim Reichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zak Ford, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the game, one of FK Green United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Tasmania Berlin a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Darryl Farrow, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FK Green United's Ralf-Joachim Reichel. 3-1. Tommi Grefen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ralf-Joachim Reichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zak Ford in the 92nd minute of the match. After 98 minutes, Tommi Grefen made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. Tasmania Berlin's Jack Graves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
