Per Næsselund was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Skudstrup FC's zone, Ian York stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per Næsselund came out of the goal and Ian York tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to River Thames FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Loyd Harrington hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Skudstrup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ian York came free, but Per Næsselund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Anker Kjærvang suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Ian York fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 71st minute, Steff Egestrand fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Trev Cahill, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 71 minutes, Steff Egestrand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skudstrup FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steff Egestrand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Ian York made a precise shot to the right of Per Næsselund. Skudstrup FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.
