GuateFortín's German Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Abel in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Manuel Martínez in the 15th minute of play forced Tracto's goalkeeper Cayetano Bilbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Tracto's Guillermo Oskarbi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. German Montoya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Cayetano Bilbo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Manuel Martínez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 24 minute of play. After 26 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Pellegrino. In the 27th minute, Edgardo Turi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and GuateFortín's German Montoya didn't even have to move. In the 29th minute, GuateFortín's Jorge Collado seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jorge Collado the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of GuateFortín protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jorge Collado had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. GuateFortín's Rolando Hidalgo got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ricardo Mora fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GuateFortín's protests and gave Ricardo Mora a yellow card for diving instead. German Montoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Oskarbi in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Guillermo Oskarbi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of German Montoya. GuateFortín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillermo Oskarbi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gervasio Bernat to strike the kick off in the second half. Jaime Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Bilbo having to interfere. If Gervasio Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Bernat in the 62nd minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Jaime Alvarez made a precise shot to the right of Cayetano Bilbo. Tracto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. GuateFortín made a substitution. Wilmer Ocampo replaced Félix Santana. GuateFortín made a substitution. Ruben Toledano replaced Gabriel Brizuela. After 76 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Juan Manuel Martínez. 81 minutes into the match, Ricardo Mora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayetano Bilbo. Tracto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Mora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. 86 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Oskarbi came free, but German Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tracto getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Primitivo Chepe hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Ricardo Mora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cayetano Bilbo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tracto players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GuateFortín.
