Alianza Trujillo's Zorion Balli got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristo Urtiaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Jaraczeski, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Stanislaw Falke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Mattis Magic Team's goalkeeper Miroslaw Skorny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Turi Sendin. Miroslaw Skorny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Ceraso in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Turi Sendin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alianza Trujillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mattis Magic Team the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mattis Magic Team's Zygmunt Hendzel got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Turi Sendin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alianza Trujillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Turi Sendin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslaw Skorny breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miroslaw Skorny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Turi Sendin went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Turi Sendin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miroslaw Skorny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Ceraso, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With 58 minutes on the clock, Teobald Dobrzechowski commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
