The referee ignored GuateFortín's protests and gave Jaime Alvarez a yellow card for diving instead. Jaime Alvarez hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes, Dallen Fc's Brian Bolin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper German Montoya came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dallen Fc reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Mora got free with Åke Bergström in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute of the match GuateFortín got a corner. Dallen Fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gabriel Brizuela ran over to the corner to take the kick. 30 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Törnkvist came free, but German Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. German Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Törnkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. German Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Törnkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gabriel Brizuela hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Göran Andersson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but German Montoya skillfully saved the ball.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Manuel Martínez during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Juan Manuel Martínez. After 58 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Juan Manuel Martínez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dallen Fc were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
