Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rogelio Madeo kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the game, Vélez Juniors's Rogelio Madeo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristo Urtiaran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Damaso Playo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alianza Trujillo's Cristo Urtiaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Gaspard in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Playo came free, but Cristo Urtiaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Urtsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zorion Balli, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute, Florentino Gaspard sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alianza Trujillo's Cristo Urtiaran didn't even have to move. 31 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Madeo came free, but Cristo Urtiaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florentino Gaspard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Alianza Trujillo's Euloxu Seoane was substituted for Zorion Balli. Alianza Trujillo's Ferrer Bujanda was substituted for Jaume Urtasabel. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Turi Sendin to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Euloxu Seoane had to leave the field with a concussion. Alianza Trujillo's Osoro Caroso was substituted for Euloxu Seoane. Vélez Juniors's Enrique Urtsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osoro Caroso in the 55th minute of play. Florentino Gaspard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Cristo Urtiaran made a huge save. Gar Ligero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Urtsin having to interfere. Florentino Gaspard scored 0-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristo Urtiaran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute, Osoro Caroso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alianza Trujillo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 90th minute, Alianza Trujillo's Nicodemo Balsera seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nicodemo Balsera the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Alianza Trujillo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nicodemo Balsera had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Nicodemo Balsera kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Alianza Trujillo's zone, Florentino Gaspard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Urtiaran came out of the goal and Florentino Gaspard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vélez Juniors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
