An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Montez in the 3rd minute of play forced Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper Enrique Urtsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Herensuge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lisandro Rameriz having to make a save. In the 14th minute, Mateo Gonzo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lisandro Rameriz, passed just outside the right post. When Vélez Juniors's Jairo Herensuge in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Enrique Urtsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Montez in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vélez Juniors's zone, Faustino Montez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Urtsin came out of the goal and Faustino Montez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jairo Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Legacy Youth Academy fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Legacy Youth Academy's Wilfredo Oliveiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 42nd match minute, Legacy Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Nahia to maneuver through the defense.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Herensuge to make the kick off. Enrique Urtsin made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Roberto Quirze sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dionisio Monico during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Faustino Montez 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. The supporters of Legacy Youth Academy booed when Vélez Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Cristofol didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Vélez Juniors supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Legacy Youth Academy's performance. The match ended with a win for Legacy Youth Academy.
