Daniel Balesio charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Balesio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Elyakim Cheulkar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maccabi Netanya's supporters rose to their feet, but Elyakim Cheulkar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Ourente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the game, Mati Adamski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. German Ourente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. German Ourente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elyakim Cheulkar, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Simeon Zibak fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maccabi Netanya's protests and gave Simeon Zibak a yellow card for diving instead. Simeon Zibak kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Mati Adamski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. German Ourente was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. German Ourente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simeon Zibak in the 34th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafaela FC's Leonel Tomi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Josh Ben-Ari. That made the score 1-3 after 35 minutes of play. After 40 minutes, Robustiano Milio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rafaela FC and the Maccabi Netanya players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rafaela FC's Robustiano Milio got a free kick in the 40th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Maccabi Netanya's Raz Factor tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Feliciano Oliviero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josh Ben-Ari having to interfere. Leonides Vito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Josh Ben-Ari made a huge save. After the first half Maccabi Netanya were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Leonel Tomi made the kick off in the second half. Leonel Tomi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Josh Ben-Ari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Leonides Vito came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Rafaela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Vito couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Maccabi Netanya booed when Rafaela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Milio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Mati Adamski made a precise shot to the right of German Ourente. Rafaela FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. During the 66th minute of the match Simeon Zibak completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Simeon Zibak a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 67th match minute, Maccabi Netanya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simeon Zibak to maneuver through the defense. Rafaela FC's German Ourente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Rafaela FC from getting a goal against them. Mati Adamski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Ourente having to interfere. German Ourente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raz Factor in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raz Factor came free, but German Ourente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Maccabi Netanya's German Ourente threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Binyamin Noam, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Leonel Tomi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Vito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josh Ben-Ari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Vito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Maccabi Netanya's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Tomi came free, but Josh Ben-Ari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mati Adamski got free with German Ourente in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Maccabi Netanya eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
