Alianza Trujillo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when George Costanza scored to the left of an out of position Cristo Urtiaran, making the score, 3-1. Emanuel Sanguino struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Cristo Urtiaran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Marabino. Real Marabino's Bautista Govantes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 42nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.

Alianza Trujillo's Jaume Urtasabel was substituted for Ferrer Bujanda. The supporters of Alianza Trujillo booed when Real Marabino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bautista Govantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alianza Trujillo's zone, Cosmo Kramer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Urtiaran came out of the goal and Cosmo Kramer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Markvincent Ogero came out of the goal and Euloxu Seoane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Real Marabino's Bastian Negroni got a free kick in the 91st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Euloxu Seoane during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 97th minute, Euloxu Seoane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Real Marabino had won after a very even match.
