The crowd rose to their feet as FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Benedicto Abello slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miroslaw Skorny. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. In the 7th minute, Benedicto Abello made a precise shot to the right of Miroslaw Skorny. Mattis Magic Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Miroslaw Skorny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe van Basten went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Pinheiro in the 17th minute of play forced Mattis Magic Team's goalkeeper Miroslaw Skorny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Pinheiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Miroslaw Skorny could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Pinheiro got free with Miroslaw Skorny in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miroslaw Skorny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe van Basten went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Miroslaw Skorny successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 26th minute of the match FC Dacii Liberi - IASI got a corner. Mattis Magic Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaizko Abaurre ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gaizko Abaurre made a great header on FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's corner, it was just that Mattis Magic Team's Miroslaw Skorny managed to reach the ball for a save. Dorel Tomoioagă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miroslaw Skorny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Pinheiro in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mattis Magic Team's zone, Vasile Nicorici stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslaw Skorny came out of the goal and Vasile Nicorici tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedicto Abello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslaw Skorny having to interfere. Miroslaw Skorny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe van Basten in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute Rodolfo Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslaw Skorny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattis Magic Team's Miroslaw Skorny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Mattis Magic Team from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the game, Franciszek Fabiszak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mattis Magic Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dacii Liberi - IASI the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Grzegorz Jaraczeski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Gaizko Abaurre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miroslaw Skorny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Miroslaw Skorny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the game, FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Rodolfo Pinheiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After some careless play in the Mattis Magic Team defense, Benedicto Abello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miroslaw Skorny. The Mattis Magic Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miroslaw Skorny should have stopped the shot. FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Mihnea Suşu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save FC Dacii Liberi - IASI from getting a goal against them. Benedicto Abello took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miroslaw Skorny. Miroslaw Skorny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Miroslaw Skorny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedicto Abello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miroslaw Skorny having to make a save. Miroslaw Skorny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mattis Magic Team's zone, Gaizko Abaurre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Fikus helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mattis Magic Team getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Gilbert Fikus hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Dacii Liberi - IASI had played much better football throughout.
