Sosnowiec's Kacper Tobiáš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Paraíba in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Minotauro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Guerra to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo got control of the ball when Leo Maradona tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 27 minutes, Severino Guerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minotauro and the F.C. Sosnowiec players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of F.C. Sosnowiec booed when Minotauro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Maradona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giovanni de Toledo having to make a save. With a little luck, Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo got control of the ball when Leo Maradona tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Severino Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34thth minute of the game Leo Maradona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. F.C. Sosnowiec were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Minotauro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonard Lewkowicz took the corner. After 37 played minutes Minotauro got a freekick which was hit by Severino Guerra. Leo Maradona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Pawel Barycz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giovanni de Toledo. Minotauro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pawel Barycz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Bogdan Wiatrak made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Wasyl Majdoch. Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Minotauro from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leo Maradona was the one to do the kick off. Leo Maradona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giovanni de Toledo having to make a save. Massem Mendes took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giovanni de Toledo. Giovanni de Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience was convinced that Massem Mendes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giovanni de Toledo was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 67th match minute, F.C. Sosnowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Wiatrak to maneuver through the defense. Kacper Tobiáš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Augusto Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes of play, F.C. Sosnowiec's Wasyl Majdoch made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giovanni de Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Maradona in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giovanni de Toledo saved Minotauro from getting behind. Giovanni de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Maradona, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes F.C. Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Leo Maradona. 85 minutes into the game, Leo Maradona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Giovanni de Toledo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Minotauro defense, Leo Maradona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giovanni de Toledo. The Minotauro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giovanni de Toledo should have stopped the shot. Minotauro were furious when Zé Paulo Mendonça was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Minotauro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave F.C. Sosnowiec a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leonard Lewkowicz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo. 6-0.
