A throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game was made by Gregorio Claude with Wilfredo Ebardo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Remigio Astudillo took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 15 played minutes Carlisle United got a freekick which was hit by 洪振义. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Claude made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Wilfredo Ebardo immediately put the ball in play. Vilhelm Sellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Arturo Erramu, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Gregorio Claude threw the ball into play from the sideline. Carlisle United's Blair Broadhurst quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Ebardo in the 35th minute of the match. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Vidal in the 36th minute of play. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by NECKER49's Nicanor Vidal. But to his dismay, Nicanor Vidal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 47th minute Nicanor Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Ebardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Carlisle United's Vilhelm Sellberg got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58thth minute of the game 洪振义 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NECKER49's Keylor Navas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Duncan Draper hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. A collision led to Carlisle United getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Duncan Draper hit a great ball. During the 67th minute of the match 洪振义 completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave 洪振义 a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Muñoz in the 74th minute of the match. If Blair Broadhurst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlisle United's Andreas Forsberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gregorio Claude, made in the 83rd minute of the game. NECKER49's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
