Leonard Lewkowicz was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C. Sosnowiec's players had a chance to rest. Radomil Brack made a great header on F.C. Sosnowiec's corner, it was just that Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo managed to reach the ball for a save. 16 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goal looked a bit too open when Edin Džeko came free, but Giovanni de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giovanni de Toledo came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Sosnowiec's Edin Džeko. But to his dismay, Edin Džeko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 22 minutes into the game, Edin Džeko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Giovanni de Toledo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, F.C. Sosnowiec's Radomil Brack got a free kick in the 28th minute. Kacper Tobiáš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermínio das Neves hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, F.C. Sosnowiec's Edin Džeko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovanni de Toledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Severino Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edin Džeko made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Edin Džeko took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Giovanni de Toledo to make any attempt to save it. Giovanni de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edin Džeko in the 60th minute of the match. Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Minotauro from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edin Džeko got free with Giovanni de Toledo in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Edin Džeko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edin Džeko in the 77th minute of play forced Minotauro's goalkeeper Giovanni de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wasyl Majdoch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Giovanni de Toledo made a huge save. Giovanni de Toledo made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Wasyl Majdoch sent off a good shot on target. Rafael Paraíba's late challenge caught a F.C. Sosnowiec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Paraíba helped the player get up and apologised. Rafael Paraíba hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Donato Terra fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minotauro's protests and gave Donato Terra a yellow card for diving instead. Giovanni de Toledo was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Massem Mendes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Massem Mendes really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Edin Džeko might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giovanni de Toledo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edin Džeko ran back to his position shaking his head. Edin Džeko scored 0-7 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giovanni de Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giovanni de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Massem Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edin Džeko took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giovanni de Toledo. Giovanni de Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8.
