Minotauro's Donato Terra managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gregorio Claude in the 7 minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejo Kaxen during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alejo Kaxen hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 8 played minutes, Minotauro's Zé Paulo Mendonça shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Keylor Navas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Minotauro reached it. In the 11th minute, Higinio Ledesma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Ebardo in the 13th minute of play. Minotauro's Perivaldo Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Wilfredo Ebardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Paulo Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Giovanni de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Ledesma, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute Wilfredo Ebardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a left leg Giovanni de Toledo saved Minotauro from getting behind. In the 98th minute of the game Gregorio Claude made a throw-in which Alejo Kaxen played forward.
