Raul Isias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macnelly Torres in the 7th minute of play. In the 15th minute Arnoldo Licerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of PINGO PINGO booed when Vancouver Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guo Ke Peng didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Sima Marinković took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Raul Isias to make any attempt to save it. Vancouver Reds's Macnelly Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lisandro Gutierrez fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PINGO PINGO's protests and gave Lisandro Gutierrez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, the referee gave Vancouver Reds a penalty. Sima Marinković looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Raul Isias.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sima Marinković to make the kick off. Raul Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macnelly Torres in the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, PINGO PINGO's goal looked a bit too open when Macnelly Torres came free, but Raul Isias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Raul Isias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
